Calvin Klein Intern Project
The Calvin Klein brand has a vast history. This project derives inspiration from the PVH Calvin Klein archives. My goal is to create a collection of handbags with the brand’s aesthetic and in a similar way that the Calvin Klein Jeans Team works: filters and connections to the brand’s heritage. I began this project by gathering research and inspiration from the PVH archives. From the inspiration, I created three filters.

This group plays with the size and functionality of the hardware as the main focus of the designs.

This group re-imagines some canvas tote bags that were found in the archives into a more contemporary collection of bags.

This group uses minimal hardware and a soft leather look to achieve the simplicity and interconnections of the Calvin Brand.
